VOTEC Training was founded in 2003 by it's former director, Mr. Harold Gelman. Mr. Gelman had previously founded and was president of Advanced Training Associates, Inc. This institution, which became nationally accredited, also specialized in short-term vocational training programs designed to provide individuals the necessary skills and knowledge for entry level positions that could lead to rewarding careers, in the minimum time and at the lowest cost.

Mr. Gelman has been teaching  for community colleges and private postsecondary schools for more than thirty years. His teaching blends in his experiences relative to the courses he delivers, based on over forty years experience in technical fields as a technician, engineer and manager.

Mr. Gelman retired from the federal government with 32 years of service , as an agency director for the Department of the Army.  He has since been dedicated to providing the best possible vocational training that is both affordable and that can lead to rewarding careers.

Votec Training's courses are registered with the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE).
